A Gift of Beauty: Free Art for Nonprofits
Dear Lexington Nonprofits,
I believe our work is similar. Artists and non-profit staff have the power to uplift, encourage, and create spaces of peace and inspiration. I want to give back to Lexington’s amazing non-profits by offering my artwork as a gift to organizations that could use it to brighten their offices, meeting spaces, or apartments and transitional housing.
Whether it's a burst of color in a waiting room or a calming piece in a place of refuge, my hope is that these paintings will bring joy and warmth to those who walk through the doors. This is my way of saying thank you and contributing to the meaningful work being done in our city.
Thank you for all you do to bring good to our community!
Love,
Brooke

This painting is a part of the 10-piece Earth to Eden collection and is based on a theme inspired by Makoto Fujimura’s book Art + Faith:
“Through the fissures of our broken journeys, with pieces of our own hearts shattered on the ground, we journey by God’s grace into the New Creation. God sees beyond our shattered remains. He picks them up and sings a song over us.”
The Earth to Eden collection shows the moments of reconciliation of a world back to its Creator. Colors swirl and paint drips, caught where the viewer is invited into the very moment where the reconciliation is occurring. This is when darkness fades and new light is revealed.
Get lost in thought as you view the swirls of color and abstract shapes. Hang in a special place in your home.
Each piece is painted with high-quality acrylic paint and sealed with varnish to last for years to come.
Hanging hardware and wire is attached to every painting for easy hanging.
