The Inspiration behind the Little Worlds Collection
My studio is full of small studies — experiments in color and movement, moments of curiosity captured in paint. What happens when two colors meet under water’s flow? How might a fragment dry differently than expected? However, I then move on to larger original works and leave the studies behind. These beginnings, though once overlooked, became the foundation for Little Worlds.
I cut and layered bits of canvas, adding new paint and details to breathe life into what was nearly forgotten. Each circular form holds its own story — a world of renewal and transformation.
