Summer Light

Summer 2022 Collection

two acrylic paintings of marsh, summer light collection of Brooke Harris

I love summer!

There is something about this season that helps me move a little slower and relax. That’s exactly what I wanted to paint this season too. Crisp clean lines of blue and green, peaceful sky full of movement - a serene collection of marsh landscapes.

These two paintings invite you to move a little slower this season and to breathe deeply.

This Summer collection is inspired by one of my favorite places, Fripp Island, SC - a part of the low country region. A place full of saltwater marsh and low tides.

I’ve traveled to this island dozens of times in my life and each time the marsh calls me to be still, to breathe.

I hope these landscapes invite you to do the same - sit still in nature and wonder.
